new body

I don’t mind slipping into somebody else
It always came naturally
dancing
drawing and painting
visions in the dark punishment
cell under the stairs
no walls could ever keep me from traveling
I see the eye in the tree when it is looking
at me
a multitude of us at once with empathy
and curiosity
*

and that’s exactly what happened
and it still doesn’t feel real
or substantial
even if it communicates
the inevitable fragment
transparently
*

each letter is a nail
staples
screws
in lines
holding something down
that is inside you
emotions aspirations
and devotions
all the perceptions
that uncloud the mind
*

these face to face messages
vibrating the breath
and its doctrine’s assumptions
is it too late for the greater force?
with the good subjugated to principle
in universal terms?
no
to be abstract
humanoids will inevitably arise
above you
beyond you
on this planet
on these matters of creation
cloistered development
is currently seeking a chorus
of every living being
around you
the sphere
if you remember it
feeling it
before the matters that matter
now mattered
you are blessed
you have a family
still attempting to harmonize
with a new body
that is also your voice
losing itself joyfully
in connectedness
