Solo Exhibition - December 4, 2011. Chisinau, Moldova.

Dear fellow-artists and friends! I would like to share some great news with you!
I’ve just had an opening of my first solo exhibition! It went super well, a lot of people came over, the number of which impressed the management of the cultural centre it took place in! It was also very nice to hear the feedback and the speech of people who are related to art and people who followed the story of my life as an artist. I was also very touched by the support of my friends, who helped a lot with the organization of the exhibition! The exhibition brought some new plans and offers and many many flowers :-) I was extremely happy and wanted to share the news with redbubble!
Here are some photos from the exhibition for you to see :-)…

Modern Art versus Traditional Art

In this article there is an interesting research on the average time the viewers spend on viewing different artworks. The author of the article made an interesting conclusion. Can the time spent by the viewers on a certain piece of art be the criterium of the quality of an artwork, I’d personally ask? Or it shows something else?
Check out the masterpieces and the data – it’s interesting.
And can you recall which artwork grabbed you personally and made you stare at it for minutes? I can recall mine….the feeling was unforgettable.

Here is the article

Copyright concern by a random person. Your opinion needed.

Hello, guys, I have just received these notifications regarding my tee-shirts after Antoine de Saint-Exupery, which say:…

I’m not sure if the original work is still protected by copyright law, but even if it is not, an author/artist cannot simply put his/her own name to another’s work, even with a line of attribution. This is not “after” the original, it is a COPY of the original. The only new feature here is treating the four smaller sketches as one work. If it were submitted to me by a student I would not hesitate to call it plagiarism.

*And another one. This artist has considerable talent; she needs to use it developing her own work, not just copying someone
