Dear Redbubbles friends,

Two years ago, we started our intensive trip to meet children of the 6 continents to promote tolerance and cultural understanding through artistic activities.

We are really excited by the results we have obtained so far:
-more than 200 schools have participated to our activities in more than 150 countries, giving them a voice, a chance to address the world and present their own vision of their country and daily life
-we have introduced to close to 10000 children to new forms of art, stimulating their creativity to better express themselves.
-we have promoted education for Global Citizenship

This hard work was recognized by an invitation to speak at the Education for Global Citizens Forum at Harvard University in Cambridge Massachusetts the 1st of December. We will participate in this conference next to Oxfam UK, leader in this sector.

Oxfam award winning publication “Education for Global Citizenship: A guide for schools” encourage strongly the usage of photography in schools. “Photographs play an important part in forming our attitudes towards other people, cultures and places. They can be used to great effect even with very young children, to prompt questions, challenge stereotypes, build empathy and develop respect for children’s own and other cultures.”

In September, AiA was formally recognized as a 501c3 non profit organization in the USA. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsor Hugues Hubboard & Reed that helped us through all those legal steps over the last 2 years. We already organized two main fundraising activities in New York with great success. I would like also to congratulate our advisory board member Phil Micali, and his new and creative team of volunteers for the astonishing work they did in the last 3 months as AiA debut in America.

Through this newsletter, we wanted also to give you a tribute for these achievements: you, who have helped us closely and supported us in the creation and evolution Art in All of Us. Our organization has evolved and took its present shape and dimensions thanks to you.

We would like also to thank the 64 families from 50 countries who hosted us during this year and significantly contributed to reduce our daily costs and shared with us interesting and beautiful aspects of their traditional cultures.

The following announcement concerns the people living in Belgium and in the neighboring countries:
