1-1-12 - Happy New Year - Reflections and Thoughts on 2012

After the disruption of 2011 with binaries broken, our fields of soul raw, tilled and ready to be planted with a field of unnamed flowers, fed with the water of a new range of emotional and intellectual response. Dancing in the final hours of this year our desperation illuminates a heart knowing with the random reward that inspires our imagination and fires our creativity which carves expression out of raw material.

Lying expanded, arms outstretched, an eagle in full flight, while my body merges into the warmth of mother earth as she takes hold and contains my spirit in the eternal moment – the very last day of 2011.

My eyes seek the answers in the endless beauty of the Melbourne sky, beside the Yarra, my blue bleeds into the vast blue above and becomes one. Union at last. The sun kisses the tops of the palm trees, that throw shade on this balmy summer day. Finally my winter bones thaw, and my soul mesmerised sees the light. And it is only 8 hours to midnight.

On the eve of the new year, the gold of clarity of this Melbourne day heralds the excitement of a new dawn, a new year. 2012 I feel is more a rebirth, than an ending, a year of redefinition and reinvention after the shattering disruption of fixed systems in 2011.

Pieces are already deconstructed and are ready to be reconstructed in a new formation. Now is a time to visualise and see a new way of being. Where the imagination given to us as our birthright, becomes the master of this fresh conversation. Imagination the leader with hope as its guide are very powerful partners. Imagination incased in freedom and expression opens up immense opportunities never before conceived. I feel a call to thinking hearts to see anew and to recreate a state of expanded living where our emotional responses widen, our intellectual engagement deepens in order to remove the resistance in our minds that keeps us in mental prisons that no longer serve us.

As this process of expansion occurs our hearts move further away from emotional wounds and we can breathe a new dance, that is neither the shadow or the light. A powerful shift away from emotional pain to a new default emotion of jubilant celebration and a radical knowing of the magic and majesty of breathing. And the receiving of ecstasy of human connection, where we no longer need to be a slave to the resistance of change. A perfect state of surrender to the clarity of light beyond the realm of consciousness to where mystery collides and makes love to revelation and our masks that were once seductive fall off and what is real is revealed and forms the foundation of change and the recipe for living larger, in radiant brilliant colour.

Now is the time and place to disrupt the slaying of the human spirit by the unnamed and unneeded silent killer…STRESS. Diffusing stress, releasing anxiety as our chest open up, exposed and vulnerable in perfect expansion. To reveal our true self even if those around choose not to see or acknowledge our truth. Does not our desire to be seen imprison us deep inside toxic controlled structures? Why is such deep pain associated with the state of being invisible? To be seen, admired and acknowledged seems to be powerful human drive controlling so much of what we do. What freedom there would be not to place our self esteem and value on being seen?

To put aside our isolation and get on with our fascination, the new relation the underlying theme (RUSH wisdom). To seek adventure, expand our range of emotional response and find new ways of relating to and loving each other. These are thoughts that start to take shape as the old year ends and the new year begins.

To let go of all that is irrelevant and no longer serves us and to release, reinvigorate and be born anew.
To default to charm over criticism
To divert to enchantment over hurt
To direct our hearts to magic over trauma
To see with fresh hearts and expanded minds all that is available to us.
To step out into undefined spaces where no light is shining and become a torch and microscope to the subtle and the insignificant.
To allow our disruption and splitting apart to become cohesive and unified that where one soul ends another begins.
Let our emotional intelligence default instead to a spiritual solution instead of corporate one where the core ingredient is the honour and the respect of the human spirit.

As the swing, the blues and than the rock pumps out of the stage on Federation Square across the Yarra river, I am aware that just a few short hours remain before the fireworks at midnight. My heart becomes fuelled with excitement and passion for a new year. The gulls glide and their feathers ruffle. The cruise boats rock and the party goers shout out Happy New Year.

Soon, I relish the dusk and than the dark and the countdown 10 9 8 7 6 4 3 2 1….Happy New Year. The fireworks explode off every main building around the river and bridge and for a short space of time the city becomes a magical, enchanted world of sparkle and beauty as we trip over into the 1-1-2012.

In 2012 I pray for a society that is inclusive rather then exclusive and where consideration of the other becomes the core value. I pray that showing our strength that makes us lonely changes to us having courage to reveal our weakness that enables us to be connected. As hiding our weakness only creates isolation and keeps us all disconnected. Revealing our a fault line in the soul attracts connection that is felt and real. Fragility of our human condition makes us cry tears of rebirth.

Exposing our imperfection to another eradicates our fear of rejection
and makes us real and grow brave with each step outside our zone.

Where 2011 was a year that celebrated the I Generation and their mantra, HERE I AM, I pray that 2012 will be a year where we shift the paradigm to think of others and make it a Year of THERE YOU ARE.

I think, therefore YOU ARE!

Happy 2012 to all My Beautiful RedBubble Friends.
