Artist's Description

Each day, the wildlife in our region and around the world may face their own olympic trials… to stay alive, to avoid a predator, to prove they are better than another in their herd or pack, to find food in a frozen or inhospitable land. These elk are sparring months before the rut arrives, no doubt to hone their skills. This mountain goat kid barely pauses to focus on its landing zone before launching off one tiny rock platform for another on this cliff face.
