Artist's Description

Across the river from Carennac, France, there are small country lanes that are perfect for biking. And if you turn off one of those lanes in search of the banks of the Dordogne River, you find this unusual stone house… with a prow that resembles the old gabare boats that hauled wine downriver to Bordeaux. It’s abandoned now, but still provides a tempting photographic target; but don’t cross the fence because the bull in the pasture that surrounds the house may take an interest in you!

Canon T2i, ISO200, f22, 30seconds, RAW, lightpainted with two sources: car lights and a handheld flashlight. Views 119 as of 28 April 2011, thanks for stopping by.
