Artist's Description

How do you capture the wind in photographs? I’m all ears for suggestions. When we travel around Wyoming, the wind is almost ever-present, and in fact makes us comment when it’s not an issue. On days when the windsock is straight out like this, it behooves drivers to pull into parking spaces facing INTO the wind… so that your car door is not ripped off. Canon 40D, f10, 1/500, focal length 24, lying on my back.

Featured in Extreme Weather, May 2010, thank you so much!
