Artist's Description

This rare reef scorpion fish lives on the house reef at one of the main dive resorts in Bonaire. According to divers who know Bonaire well, they may go looking for this colorful little fish and only find it in 4 of 100 dives. Imagine my delight when a local described where it was, and several days later when I was able to go looking for it, the little beauty was exactly where it was supposed to be, posing on a lovely contrasting sponge! Canon S3-IS, Ikelite housing and strobe. Views 118 through 9 March 2010, thanks for stopping by!

Featured in Islands of the World group, April 2009, thanks so much!
