Watercolour 34×25cm Artists watercolours on 140lb cold press watercolour paper.
This was my demo piece for last weekend’s studio workshop. I really love painting these cheerful little flowers that appear from nowhere in early Spring and are little patches of creamy prettiness on the dark cold earth.
As always I enjoy the contrast between the flower heads and their sombre surroundings.
