A Sad Time
It’s a long and winding road down the pitfalls of pride.
A nation destroyed by division following one who is taking them away from the freedom that rang and the speech unfettered.
Putting us all into poverty and chains.
The sun is going down on the ones who fought and died to keep us free.
Fires burn and meteors fall as the end of a great nation that may fall,
fall prey to men who hear not the words of God.
Those who rebel against God, whose agenda makes the dream a myth and our rights a mere memory.
But our victory now must wait upon God who is never late. The victory that has overcome the world, that is our faith,
our belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
So dear friends have no fear, for greater is He who is in us,
the Holy Spirit that dwells in us is greater than he who is in the world.
And believe not every spirit but test the spirits
to see whether they are from God.
We are fellow citizens with the people of God. And God is with us.
So Stand strong in the liberty that has truly made you free.
