Artist's Description

My Last Sunflower of 2012
This was the last gorgeous sunflower which I grew in my backyard this year. It was a petite sunflower, so I picked it and put it in a bud vase so I could admire & enjoy it for as long as it lasts. I painted it in watercolor on paper 9×12” with a Photoshop enhanced background to bring out the grey pleated shades effect in the family room.

Romans 4:19-22
19 Without weakening in his faith, he(Abraham) faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. 22 This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.”
Faith does not refuse to face reality but looks beyond all difficulties to God & His promises.
We need to have complete confidence in God, especially when we have anxious moments.
We need to give glory to God, praise God and be thankful to Him.♥
