Artist's Description

A Tropical Flower- Frangipani
A watercolor, with some pastel and pencil painting (9x!2”)

Frangipani is a very beautiful to behold and fragrant especially at night. Yet it is poisonous because the sap irritates the eyes & skin.

It is symbolic of various things
Either it is symbolic of shelter and protection bringing feelings of peace and tranquility
Symbolic of death, dying or a shelter to demons and/or ghosts

Inspired by a work of the artist Evita

The Fear of God

The fear of God is a conventional phrase equivalent to a relationship with God or what some might consider a true religion. Not the proverbial religions whether it is in a big church, temple or mosque. Fear is a reverential trust in God that includes commitment to his revealed will and word.
Proverbs 3 :7 Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear God, shun evil. :8 This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.(meaning the body as a whole)
Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge but fools despise wisdom and discipline. A loving reverence for God includes submission to his lordship and his commands in his word. We must trust God not ourselves. Then we can rejoice because he will direct our path in the good way. Proverbs32: 6 Therefore let everyone who is godly (those who fear/ respect God) pray to You (God) while he can be found(while he is near)And not foolishly provoke his withdrawal. A time is coming sooner than you may think, when God will not be as assessable as He is now.
Isaiah 58:2 For a day after day they seek me out, they seem eager to know my ways as if they were a nation that does what is right. We can’t make our worship be only rules made up by men, or honor God with our lips and not our heart.
Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart, :14 I will be found by you declares the Lord and bring you back from captivity.Amos5:4 Seek me and live.
