NEWS FOR MY GROUPS

Hi Bubbler Friends…

Just a wee message for my groups (I have also posted a message there, but sometimes they get missed).

As some of you know I’ve been experiencing health problems and these now have some further complications with infection. I am currently on bed rest and have to go into hospital just before Xmas for a small procedure (nothing serious).

I have made the decision to extend my Groups breaks over the festive season to get a proper rest from hosting and to concentrate on my art (which I always find theraputic and havent had much time for recently). I will keep Alice in Wonderland open and close the rest until 2012.

Group Status
Alice in Wonderland (Open as usual)
Faces with Florals (Closed until 2012- but I will tie up existing challenge)
Bubblers Portraits (Closed until 2012)
Lol

Can anyone help ?

I have a couple of artworks that needed to be cleaned up and now want to replace the existing upload- I cant for the life of me see how to do this in the new redbubble layout, before it had a clear button for replacing an image.

Probably just not seeing it & hoped someone could point it out for me :)

Cheers

You can also get the details online here….

NEOS PROGRAMME 2011

Thank you Redbubble

I just noticed that Redbubble have put our mini bios up above the tags & groups on our product pages as a few suggested. Its nice to see a few tweaks happening to the new layout :))

I love this big art format without all the distracting “clutter” and we still can write as much as we want in our descriptions- for me the “sneak peek” of the description entices me to click for more on the works that catch my eye. I know some dont see it this way, but I think its a pleasure to view (visually much better). I’m liking it very much.

I’m hoping peeps give it a chance :) x

PRAY BE SAFE

Wishing safety and peace to the ordinary people of London and other places affected. My heart is breaking right now & hope my friends and family are safe.

This is not a political backlash or uprising of the poor, the many disgruntled people in the UK who live in poverty do NOT behave this way- there is NO excuses or “trying to understand” or “told you so’s”. This is sheer hell inflicted by the worst kind of cowardly, criminals who destroy communities & take from their own.

Please send a thought of goodness if you can tonight…….

A Quick Pop In :))

Hi Lovely Bubble Friends

I have been enjoying my little break very much and hoped by this week I’d have time to catch up on all your lovely works. As is typical with taking a break, I’ve ended up with a bunch of paperwork to catch up on- so a few more days is required :))

Will be sorting out my group activity and bits and bobs for the next hour or so with a nice cuppa tea and then head offline for a few days again…… I cant wait to have a proper catch up & browse the new works I’ve missed (the fun bit).

No need to reply- Thinking of you all and catch up soon- Mwah xxxx

Happy Birthday Dad :))

My dad is 70 today- Woooo Hoooo

He’s my biggest inspiration- A left hander, born on Friday 13th, a serious painter for about 30 years now and I’m trying to get him on the bubble to share his work- Maybe soon :)))
I know he pops by here- so couldnt resist to leave a birthday wish. Love you Dad xx

Will be back in a few days- taking time out to chill and spend time with family …. and hopefully eat birthday cake on Sunday :)))

Hugs to you all & catch up soon xxx

HOLIDAYS

I’m heading off for a few days- maybe up to a week- so just catching up on group things and posting some challenges to keep the group members going :)) Will be off line so see you all when I return.

Shifty Emails ?

I just wondered if anyone has had emails from a Valerie Idowu asking questions about commissions and copyrights on their work in a rather vague manner- There is something a bit fishy about a correspondence I got from this person so just asking folks to be on their guard. She found my name on RB, although doesnt appear to be here. Googling suggests she could be a “photographer” with a Flickr account with no actvity on it yet.

MONTHLY NEWSLETTER- JANUARY 2011

Newsletter- January 2011
Welcome to my first monthly Newsletter. This is hopefully a good way to keep in touch with my friends & customers and will include updates on whats new in my creative world. I have explored the idea of blogging and other communication tools but I think a simple little newsletter/journal created on redbubble and which I can share via Facebook, Twitter & Email will be a cool way to get started.…

Forgive me if my first one is a bit long- I feel like I have so much to tell you yet so little to share right now. Hopefully I will learn how to get a good balance as I do more of these. Hope you find this enjoyable and please remember if you have received an email link and no longer wish to recieve my newsletter you can cancel through my email contact anitai@clicc.f2s.com

The

SALES & STUFF :))

Wow- Is it just me firmly dragging my heels into 2011 ?
I guess yesterday was my official start to the year and I was mainly distracted by cleaning out my art supplies (I guess thats a start).…

Big changes for me this year so I’m not making any firm plans – Want to be a little more intuitive and take each day as it comes :))
Currently working on a Noah’s Ark Piece and hope to do a couple of Valentines Day Cards this week. I’m toying with a Newsletter Journal maybe once a month here on Redbubble. I thought about Blogs and E-Bulletins etc etc but RB remains my base and I felt I could use the Journal facility very well for the purpose and link in to everything else I do. I figured a monthly Newsletter might be cool compared to lots of little journals too. Watch this space.

Many Thanks for the
