Artist's Description

Gibson’s Cave in Upper Teesdale in the UK. Summerhills Force. This is a long exposure of the water fall from inside the cave. Isolating the water nicely against the darkness of the cave. This not too far from Low Force rapids and High Force the highest unbroken waterfall in England just under 100ft.
A chap called Gibson many years ago, hid here from the law, a local rascal near Bowlees and Middleton – in – Teesdale. The locals are said to have kept him with food and clothing.
