I am a photographer based in Sheffield and I specialize in Macro Photography and Landscapes. I took up photography as a hobby initially, and now it is my passion. I originate from Durham in the North East if England. I love where I live and proud of my roots.

the long wait

Well, I am now on the waiting list for some Lee Filters, so I am using my cokin set in the mean time, which has a terrible cast in colour. / A do enjoy mostly the long exposure techniques, and have created some reasonably good images using a relatively cheap ND8 3stop filter. Not calculating the time properly as this is a circular fit, so the Lee big stopper should be a lot easier to manipulate,…

dust and weebly

With the co-incidence of dust on my camera sensor, I have decided to take a leap of faith and re-direct my website from wordpress to weebly. Snow Days Recovery Work

The weather is not my favour today, or very much this week when I have had time off. I have taken to recovery work on photographs taken last year. I have recently acquired neutral density and polarising filters, but did not have them a year ago. Bad Weather

After having a successful sunset at Penshaw Monument, visiting my parents we managed to capture the end of a rainy day. I was not the only photographer out that early Friday evening.
