Well it's almost here

Okay, the grocery shopping is done, the gifts are wrapped…well most of them anyway. The stockings are hung and the kids are just about to burst with excitement. I have to tell you that I am grateful for the family that I have and the time that’s ahead to be able to spend with them. The truth is that I will almost be glad when the hurry scurry is over with. I can’t wait to see the g-kids eye’s light up Chritmas morning, but I will be able to spend time with them after the big day and they won’t be so “wired.” I can’t wait to see family that I don’t get to see all the time, but I think it’s sad that this is the way it is. I’m really not Ebeneezer Scrooge, but I just can’t help but think sometimes that all this commercialism is sad. Why can’t we feel this way all the time..is it getting gifts that make us tick? Why don’t we spend more time with the family..is it only on holidays that we want to see them? Okay, I’m done, and I do want to say that I hope everyone has a great holiday and gets to spend quality time with family!!
