Gyles House at picturesque Pittenweem harbour, built in the 17th century for Captain James Cook who took Charles II to France after his defeat at the battle of Worcester in 1651. Gyles House is now a Grade A listed building, functioning as a B&B, with superb period features inside including the original fireplaces and timber wall panels.
