Visualize your way to health & success

Getting healthy requires you to see yourself as healthy (or fit or slimmer or sleeping better or … fill-in-the-blank) before you even get there. It’s a form of emotional fitness and mental retraining. So, for example, if your goal is to lose weight for a wedding this summer, here’s what you’d do:
•Imagine yourself feeling fit and sexy, wearing that perfect-sized dress, before you even start to change your eating habits.
•Visualize taking that dream trip of yours, completely pain and headache-free, because you started drinking more water, and getting more sleep.
•Revel in the image of standing on top of that mountain with your arms in the air in a victory dance because you had the energy to make that climb—because you got your blood sugar balanced, lost 20 pounds, and started a great exerci…

Excuses & Circumstances

We all have some ingrained excuses – many of them seem real to us. There is a difference between an EXCUSE and a description of your current CIRCUMSTANCE. We can confuse the two. Usually your current circumstances BECOME an excuse and it’s easy to hide behind it because no one can argue with your circumstance. But you are MORE than your circumstance and you can, through trial, effort and faith, transcend your circumstance. Because you are NOT your circumstance. You are SO much more than that! You are an Infinite Soul connected to the Infinity of The Divine and for a short while, you are in this body that you inhabit. When you identify with The Divine, with your Source and with your Soul (and not your circumstances), you take the first step in transcending your limitations. Here are some …

Weight = Wait

Close your eyes in a quiet place and breathe deeply. Focus on your excess weight and silently ask it: “Why are you with me? What purpose are you serving? What am I waiting for?”…

Listen to the answer, which may surprise you. Most likely, the excess weight will tell you that it’s trying to protect you from something.

Ask the excess weight: “What are you trying to protect me from?”

Say to the excess weight: “Thank you for your offer to protect me. I appreciate your help. From now on, I will protect myself without your help. You are now free to leave in a peaceful and healthful way.”

You will feel lighter after this conversation, because you’ll no longer carry anger about the excess weight. You will have compassion for yourself and the weight.

Notice how your appetite shifts to more healthful

Building Confidence

Confidence is learnt, not inherited.…

If you lack confidence, it probably means that you were criticised or undermined as a child.

If your message was ‘You are singing out of key’, remind yourself of the friends you have and stick a message on your mirror saying ‘My voice is wonderful and creates goosepimples’ or ‘I am made to be on a stage!’

What you think about you will bring about. Confident people think themselves successful & prosperous and attract these things.

Run a kind of internal mind movie where you are doing well. Imagine just how well you’ll do and tell yourself you’re going to succeed.

Just before a big date, relax, stand tall, hold your head up, relax your shoulders and stand with your weight evenly balanced. Smile to raise your spirits.
Take a deep breath – and go for it! Sm

Cinnamon and Honey

A mix of honey and Cinnamon cures most diseases. Scientists also note honey as very effective medicine for all kinds of diseases. Honey can be used without side effects which is also a plus. Even though honey is sweet, when it is taken in the right dosage as a medicine, it does not harm even diabetic patients.…

HEART DISEASES: Make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder, put it on toast instead of jelly and jam and eat it regularly for breakfast. It reduces the cholesterol and could potentially save one from heart attack. Also, even if you have already had an attack studies show you could be kept miles away from the next attack. See How Much I Love You

written by Laura Jeanne Allen in “Chicken Soup for the Couple’s Soul”…

shared with you by The Creative Minds

My grandparents were married for over half a century, and played their own special game from the time they had met each other. The goal of their game was to write the word “shmily” in a surprise place for the other to find. They took turns leaving “shmily” around the house, and as soon as one of them discovered it, it was their turn to hide it once more.

They dragged “shmily” with their fingers through the sugar and flour containers to await whoever was preparing the next meal. They smeared it in the dew on the windows overlooking the patio where my grandma always fed us warm, homemade pudding with blue food coloring.

“Shmily” was written in the steam left on the mirror after a hot

HOW to love yourself

There is only one thing that heals every problem: to love yourself!…

When you start to love yourself more each day, it’s amazing how your life gets better. You feel better. You get the jobs they want. You have the money you need. Your relationships improve, the negative ones dissolve and new ones begin.

Loving yourself is a wonderful adventure. Begin to love ourselves NOW

Here are 12 Commandments to help you learn how to love yourself more:

Stop All Criticism.
Criticism never changes anything. Refuse to criticize yourself. Accept yourself exactly as you are. Everybody changes. When you criticize yourself, your changes are negative. When you approve of yourself, your changes are positive.

Forgive Yourself.
Let the past go. You did the best you could at the time with the understanding, awarene

What you sow is what you reap

Every action generates a force of energy that returns to you in like kind.…

What you sow is what you reap. When you choose actions that bring happiness and success to others, the fruit of your karma is happiness and success.

Put the Law of Karma into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

Today I witness the choices I make each moment. In witnessing these choices, I bring them to my conscious awareness.

I know that the best way to prepare for any moment in the future is to be fully conscious in the NOW.

Whenever I make a choice, I ask myself: “What are the consequences of this choice that I’m making?” and “Does this choice bring fulfillment and happiness to me and to those who are affected by it?”

I then ask my heart for guidance and am guided by its message of comfort
