Andy utilised her early academic studies in Business (Victoria University), Photography (University of Sydney) and Communication & Cultural Studies (University of Western Sydney) to establish Solo Creative, offering a fresh mix of photographic art and services.

Established as an artistic photographer for over 15 years, her passion for photography initially grew from inspired encounters with a plethora of people and places as diverse as Sri Lanka, Scotland, Sydney and Sinai.

After years developing black & white prints of travel, art & documentary photography, Andy was dragged reluctantly from the darkroom into the digital age when it became clear the medium allowed a new expressive freedom and portal of creativity.

While retaining her fervor for art and travel, in more recent years Andy expanded into commercial magazine work, photojournalism, dance photography and photobook production.

Andy has been exhibited in various galleries, including Sherman Galleries, and published in various mediums and magazines including the cover of Art & Australia (Vol.37 Spring).

Shinsen 深浅: depth, shade of colour was Andy’s first solo exhibition in 2010, focusing on the depth, detail and beauty of Japan. Flash Life: New York, her second solo show, opening January 2011, presents the edgy and inspiring streetscapes of New York City.
