The Unknown Kiss

I’m lost inside
the great abyss
that ranges wide
an unknown kiss.
The minutes matter,
there is no pause,
my clever chatter
is of no use.
My mind just flies
beyond the doubt
of sudden bliss
and she just sits
right there forever.
I become lost
inside those lips
when I see past
beyond good looks
and I hold by together
to the eternal wonder
that never leaves.

Artist's Description

God…this poem brings memories. I wrote it for an European girl I was so hooked on. I called the poem “The Unknown Kiss” because I wanted to be a real gent to her for the very first time intead of acting like an immature jerk…I mean we had such chemistry and cenection. Then, bam! Things went ahaywire before I could even give her a kiss. It was such a bummer too because we both wanted to, but we both didn’t do anything about it. Funny, huh? Her lips are still to this day unknown to me. Oh well…enjoy.
