Artist's Description

Thisi image was taken at the Fuckwalk protest in Melbourne.

The protest was against one of the silliest laws ever proposed in Victoria. The law prohibits swearing and imposes on the spot fine for transgressions.

I don’t know the full details but I imagine there must a list of prohibited words. I guess they would have to be published maybe in a newspaper so people will know which words may be use.

Maybe in the future there may be illicit use of prohibited words. We will have secret meeting where we use prohibited words.

What about in private can we use those prohibited utterances. What happens if their are undercover operations by police seeking out swearers.

Seriously there are already plenty of laws to stop offensive behavior already. This is just silly and a political stunt due to the recent election.

Image was taken with a Canon G9 camera
