Artist's Description

This image was taken at the Unavale Winery Flinders Island Tasmania.

Photo was taken with a Canon 550d using the 18/55 lens

After the grapes were harvested they had to be crushed to make wine.

In the photo Roger the winery’s owner is pouring the grapes into the crusher. Mick Barrat with the beard is spraying sulfur dioxide onto the grapes as a preservative.

To the right hand side is Jeremy who lives towards the north of the island.

Jeremy is one person I got to know quite well on the island as he had given me three lifts while I was hitchhiking.
