Artist's Description

I have now made the transition from being a part time Photographer to a Full time. When I started the new career I decided to start to shoot Sunrise everyday. That way if someone wanted a sunrise for the day their baby was born or the day they got Married, I would have an image to market to them. This was the Sunrise on the 17th November from North Avoca Beach on the NSW Central Coast, Australia. The sunrise was tinted by bush fire smoke on the horizon which made the light from the sun the red colour you see in the wave splash. This image was shot in RAW with a Nikon D3s and the 16-35 f4 lens, Also included was the .9 soft grad Lee filter. The settings were f11 and a 1/6th Second exposure at ISO100.
