The little Wax-eyes/Silvereyes are abundant in our gardens this time of the year. They winter here and then take off in spring for the breeding season. These tiny little birds have so much character, their facial expressions are priceless especially with the little white rings of feathers around their eyes. I never tire of them and miss them during the summer months. The cherry blossom tree although beautiful for a few days in spring seems to loose it’s charm and personality without these little silver eyes darting back and forth, scrapping, grooming, falling in love and generally being busy and comical to us. Little boy lost had a similar look, and has become the most popular image on on portfolio, he captured your hearts. This is a great opportunity to thank each an every one of you for your wonderful support, comments and compliments, and also the special friendships that have been born through Red Bubble. Thank you…..
