The sun was bouncing off this little one, bringing out his color.
The Silvereye – its a small (9.5cm – 12cm) bird with green head, a conspicuous ring of white feathers around the eye reinforced with a thin black outer ring. They are an incredibly interesting little bird that is found all over Australia and in New Zealand.
