Calendar prices

I was just creating a new calendar on RedBubble and looked at the price – it was showing a price to the public of $42.60!

I had previously set it to $35, but the trouble was the base price went up (I didn’t realise though no doubt there was a notice about it), and as it is by a % markup, the end price had jumped. So I have been in and adjusted them all.

No wonder I wasn’t selling any!

Anyone who has calendars may want to check the prices.

And does anyone know what happened to the Calendar shop group? I was a member but it is no longer on my list and i cannot find the group anywhere. Did it fold?

Mt Blurb mini portfolio

After seeing the generous offer from “RB & Blurb:” of a FREE mini portfolio a week or so ago, I was determined to get one out. I didn’t finish it until today (the last day) and am pretty happy with it (for a very rush job!).

See it at my Blurb bookstore

I have also created an e-Book for iPad and submitted it to the Apple bookstore. See what haoppens.

After some thought I decided to price the eBook (I settled on $3.99). I don’t really expect to sell any but you never know.

Thanks again to RB & Blurb for doing this for us.

HINT: ’Twould be nice if we could have our RB portfolios linked to do exercises like this in future.

Care to Like my Facebook Photography page?

I’ve been on FB for a fair while now, and had set up a page for my photography, Photography by Odille, but silly me didn’t realise you had to Publish it! So I have now done that but the poor page is languishing there with just 10 likes.

I do plan to use it a bit like a blog so if any of my friends from here and FB would care to go and Like it I’d be stoked!

Anyone esle been asked to remove links?

Did anyone esle get this email? I know a few of my contacts also have stores at FineArtAmerica, Blue Canvas, ArtFlakes etc, and wondered what they thought. My main reason for adding a link to FAA, for one, is that they offer so many extra framing options. And I had Artflakes on as they are European. But anyway, I’ll be changing my blurb in the description, I have links to the other sites on my webpage and there is no way I am removing that link.…

The 2 emails below.

“We are writing in regards to works and the description in your (analog6) portfolio that link to similar items for sale on another website. We take a very relaxed approach to artists linking to other sites in their journals, descriptions and profile pages. Many other websites have policies which ban this kind of activity bu

Anyone Used a mamiya 645DF? & Hasselblad H gear For Sale

I am thinking of jumping ship from the Hasselblad to Mamiya and buying a kit of 645DF + AF 80mm/2.8 D + 105-210 ULD – anyone out there with experience using this gear? Any comments welcome.…

This is mainly due to the lower price of the Mamiya medium format digital equipement while quality is still outstanding. It will free up enough funds for me to get another 35mm kit as well. I’m looking at other marques as well but this is a good price for the equipment so I am jumping on it.

Below is a list of all my H series gear – I will be selling it, offers welcome.

I am open to offers but these prices are reasonable, I have based the lens prices at 50% of RRP, which is the pattern I find in items for sale on photographuc forums and ebay. The zoom lens which is marked is lower priced around 1/3
