Changes

Heavy mist on cold September dawn,
Gives signal to another day of warmth,
Dew settled as blanket all the morn.

Large droplets speckle upon web of spider,
Raise beauty in a sense no artist met,
Children poke break silks a little wider.

Leaves turn colour, just as Autumn calls,
Combine Harvester trudges through the fields,
In orchards ripened juicy apples fall.

Geese flock and fly the homeward run,
Holidays over, summers nearly gone,
Children conkers out enjoy their fun.

Crops a plenty farmers reap their hay,
Whilst squirrels nuts and acorns pack within,
And eve song even earlier ends the day.
