Artist's Description

This is the statue of Gray Friars Bobby. The story as i am lead to believe is that Bobby was a * Terrior, belonging to John Gray; who died in February 1858. After his death Bobby sat by his masters grave for years until eventually he died in 1872. The people of Edinburgh were so impressed by his loyalty that they decided to erect the statue in memory of him.

Some descrepencies may be here as information is taken from many sources. No offence is intended in any form.
