Dedicated to America’s role of preserving freedom and rescuing the oppressed, this monument, by Natan Rapoport, of an American Solider carrying a World War II Concentration Camp Survivor was gifted to the State of New Jersey through the generosity of thousands of people of good will.

I thought the statue was even more moving and meaningful when you see the Statue of Liberty in the background… lovely set up they created when they installed this work. Lovely vantage point.
