Artist's Description

taken on a visit to Madame Tussauds in New York City. Some of the wax figures are amazing – you would swear they were the person. Some resemble them but do not really look like them. I did not think this figure of Elvis looked enough like him, but my daughter says it does, so I guess it is in the eye of the beholder. Apparently they switch out the figures, because when I went out to the website they have an Elvis figure from the 1970s Vegas days with the white jumpsuit he is known for.

so whether you think this wax figure looks like him or not, the artist that created it is VERY talented and it is a tribute to an amazing icon in the music industry.

Dedicated to Elvis.

Elvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977) was an American singer and actor. Regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, he is often referred to as “the King of Rock and Roll”, or simply, “the King”.
