This was taken as the sun was setting over Loch Etive in Scotland. The village itself is called Connel and is near Oban.
Connel stands astride Loch Etive where it narrows on its approach to the Firth of Lorne and the open sea. A rocky shelf causes rapids here during parts of the tide cycle. These can be seen from either the village or the bridge, sadly not on my visit……
