Artist's Description

A photo from a recent trip to Yang Cheng Lake in Kunshan (Jiangsu, China). This is an HDRI (High Dynamic Range Image) which is created by using multiple exposed images and layering them together to create an evenly exposed image. Not all situations call for HDR (such as this photo), but it just looks great! Usually it’s used when you need to see the inside and outside at the same time, like taking a photo of a window.. You’ll be able to see what is inside as well as outside.

Taken with a Sony Alpha A77
Five exposures and processed in Photomatix Pro and Photoshop.
Very large file – JPG @ 6000×4000 19.1mb
