Artist's Description

A World War Two 25 pounder field gun fires a Saulte on Anzac Day in Geelong 2008. These field pieces were towed by Australian and British forces throught the North African Desesrt and were the weapons that began to beat back the German Panzer tanks. Now it’s only duty is to fire blank rounds, an echo of rounds fired in years past, to mourn those who manned her all those years ago.
