Artist's Description

This is the outcome when the powers that be do things best left alone, just a little experiment they said, maybe cause a few tremors, maybe a slight shift in the planets axis, whoa’ the planets axis.

Didn’t really say what they were trying to do, well, I guess we know now!!

If you had visited our world just three months ago, you would have found an Earth-like planet with a nice little moon floating around up there.

It really all started about 10 years ago when we started to mine moons and asteroids in the system.

It was expensive to say the least, but when you need raw materials and not much is left where you live, then you look elsewhere.

There were always rumors floating around about better ways to transport the minerals, and they did come up with a few that cut the cost, but it was never enough. Thats the problem with politicians, they lie, and are very greedy, no matter what world you happen to live on.

Here on Markoris we’ve had tele-portation for a couple of centuries, when your brought up with it , it just becomes second nature, I know other species that visit are rather nervous when they first step into a cubicle and their parts are rearranged and put back together at their destination, but they get used to it !

At this point in my story, I’m sure you can see what the big boys tried to do.

Got it the first time, early one morning he whole planet heard a clap of thunder that pretty well broke every piece of breakable substance on the planet, the loss of life was in the billions, and that was in the first seconds of the appearance of that huge monstrosity in the sky

The powers had finally taken a step that started the destruction of our world, and the thing is, the experiment worked, why they thought they could teleport it this close to a planetary body causing just a few “TREMORS” is beyond belief.

This shot was taken of a super highway after a massive earthquake and just before the sea covered most of the land.

And the thing that caused our loss will now become our new home!
