Artist's Description

*As with all my creations they are fractals worked and viewed on the horizontal using Artmatic software for the concept and my mind for the final creation.

Before I take my ship and disappear into the ether yet again, I feel I should leave behind some history of your solar system, and the colonization thereof.
And who better than I ……..Alienvisitor.

My first love is Titan.

In the early days of Sol system exploration, Saturn’s largest moon Saturn VI or Titan, was always looked at as a habitable moon, and we were always looking for bases with less of an escape velocity than Earth.
Being 50% larger than Earths moon and having the only sustainable liquid source after Earth, any water was frozen, the liquid is of course Methane, the problem with building colonies was really the surface temps, at a chilling -174c nobeing wanted to live there.

There was some thought of digging below the surface and building subterranean cities, and this was done and seemed to work for a couple of centuries, but as history records, the Mega Quake in 2478 entombing 605,000 beings, wiped out any thoughts of doing it again.

All hope was abandoned, and it was not until humans made first contact with the Skralla in 2655 that a solution was found.
The Skralla had lived in domed or bubble cities for eons, and were quite willing to exchange technologies, even going so far as to put bubbles around entire planets.

So from this point on not only Titan but numerous moons and planetoid’s became usable as bases, and with later colonization, cities were built.

We owe much to the Skralla, a race of beings we knew for only a brief moment in the fabric of time, and we could have learned much more, but for no apparent reason in 2755, they disappeared into the void, never to be seen again.

There was general specialization that they may have had dimensional capabilities, we may really never know, this is just another of the many mysteries in the space between worlds.

Ever since I first visited the many moons of Saturn I seem to have a fascination with Titan.

Some of that fascination can be visited in the links below.
