The Art of Alex Ries

Alex is an artist who has spent the last decade-plus working in print, film, and videogames. He has always been enamored with natural history and this interest fuels and informs his art. A love and knowledge of science and the natural world allows him to create creatures and machines that are fantastical and plausible. Alex's primary medium is digital painting in Photoshop, and many of the artworks are windows into the larger fantasy worlds and stories he is still telling.
