Adobe Illustrator
For our project 1, we had to use any shapes we wanting altering them with the techniques we were taught, creating three of our own unique characters. With them first being in black and white and the second set in the colors we desired. All our characters must tie in one way or another within the storyline and the world. One of the characters one of them must be good and the other must be bad or the villain, and with the third character it must be a creature of some kind or a pet. All characters must resemble the three of the options that were chosen from the wheel of fortune.
My story line, is about two students from SuperVil University a demolished school attending their school reunion. Jack the child, genius, geek and his pet Bella, the poisonous caterpillar, butterfly, run into an old villain friend Carmen, but too shy and timid to approach they avoid her throughout the reunion. But sure enough when they both go to the snack bar, they both reach for the last cookie, making eye contact. From that moment on they reconnected and regained their friendship.
Direct Selection Tool: I used this too possibly the most because I transformed a lot of the shapes to make into the shape that I desired.
Shape builder: To unite shapes I used this to bring two shapes or more together. For example : Jack’s shirt.
Cutting shapes: I used this to make the shapes have a different shape to it without dividing them, for example the demolished university to make the top of the building have no roof and it was damaged.
Add, delete, convert tool: I did this when I was creating line segments, or shapes to make different shapes.
