Assynt and Coigach Sutherland

So you have decide to make a trip travelling hundreds of miles , firstly I check out the long range forecast…(sometimes unreliable) myself personally I look out for cold frosty weather which produes sharper air quality….and great blue skies..
My favourite area is Assynt and Coigach which is a 600 mile round trip for me so it is quite important I get the right weather.
My first stop is usually Rannoch Moor which is only 70 miles normally spend the night here , just to see what the morning brings…
Snow shot I tend too shoot in auto-bracketing , its so easy to get burn out…. and Im always up before the sun comes up as this tends to be the time for best conditions , and hopefully no breeze if Im looking for reflections.
Then its the long haul towards Beauly onwards towards Ullapool although I so…
