thanks for the memories. i saw that a few years ago… a very solemn field of ash-white soldiers and military. in fog it would be scary.
It was incredibly atmospheric at night with all the insect noise. I took pictures, but because I only had a hand held tripod, I took them from the floor. Unfortunately I got the chains surrounding the memorial as a result. Maybe next time I will take a proper tripod with me.

whenever I return home I always take tripod with me depending on my length of stay, etc. i DO have a tiny tripod too – fits within a shirt pocket and been using it as recently as 2 days ago! ;) very handy gadgets and work well!!
