Artist's Description

A few years back my family visited Germany. While we were there I wanted to tour a concentration camp. We visited the Dachau Concentration Camp. I always heard about the sign “Never Again” that was put up to say that this type of thing would never happen again. When I turned the corner and saw it, I had to stop and just look at it. There it was – a statement to go down the road of time saying this type of place should never happen again. I heard about it and there it was, I had a lump in my throat as I stood there looking at it. I touched it and thought of the things that happened there. The people doing the tour talked with slides about concentration camps and prison work camps in that realm. It was moving. I think everyone should go and see one of those camps. I just cannot understand how one man can motivate people to do such things.
