This is just one of a myriad of experiences to be had by taking the time to walk around the base of Uluru – a much more interesting way of seeing all that the Rock has to offer, instead of climbing it (which we didn’t out of respect for the aboriginal culture).

Some faded aboriginal rock art can be seen in the upper right hand corner.

As it is illegal to sell photographs taken in the Uluru -Kata Tjuta National Park, this image is not for sale.
