The Helmeted Guineafowl (Numida meleagris) is the best known of the guineafowl bird family, Numididae, and the only member of the genus Numida. It breeds in Africa, mainly south of the Sahara, and has been widely introduced into the West Indies, Brazil, Australia and southern France. (Wikipedia)

There was only one problem photographing this beautiful bird – he wouldn’t turn around and quickly hurried off into the bush. He had more than one reason to be nervous as a leopard was lurking nearby.
