Artist, Robyn Louise, grew up in her great grandmother’s colonial homestead in outback Australia. As a child she marvelled at the lead-light windows, rainbow prisms and cut-glass crystalware that adorned the interior.

A wide corrugated iron awning protected the front entrance to the home and the entire length of the porch was tiled in a geometric pattern of earthenware tiles.

In the backyard was an old fashioned Aussie Loo, and behind that an enormous garden flourishing with flowers, vegetables and fruit trees. Robyn spent many hours catching bugs, picking bouquets and climbing the gnarly old trees.

Now, Robyn presents for us an evocative fashion and accessory collection, inspired by these comforting memories of “Nanna’s House”.
