This is the second season we’ve had these wonderful flowers in our woodland garden, and they are just delightful. The flowers are very small so it’s hard to get them in focus, especially in early evening light – my favorite time to shoot.
Nikon D700 and Nikon 105mm f/2.8 micro lens.
I loved this image except for the slightly out of focus bottom cluster, so I used Gaussian Blur to blur the cluster completely. I also enhanced the contrast and vibrance in the flowers and finished with Kim Klassen’s Take Heart.
