The Shirley-Eustis House was built in 1747 as a royal governor's residence in Roxbury, Massachusetts. Today, we operate our national landmark site as a non-profit house museum and garden where visitors and member can explore changes American architecture, social life, politics, and agriculture as well as the urbanization of New England from the 1700s through the 1860s.
