Sticker Fun: 19 Creative Uses for Custom Stickers!

Have you ever wondered “what can I do with stickers?” You know – those funky pieces of ephemera that you see plastered on a teen’s laptop or cleverly positioned on a sign. Not that I’m agreeing to the defacement of public property – but I have seen some awfully funny stickers used as a form of public art. Stickers can be artistic, clever, funny or express an opinion. They come in different sizes, styles and genres. And the best thing of all – stickers are always cheap! You can buy a bunch for just a few dollars.…

Without further ado, here is my totally creative list of how to use customized stickers:

1. Decorate school notebooks and binders with your favorite stickers.

2. Add stickers as a fun addition to your scapbooking supplies.

3. Customize your laptop, phone or tablet with stickers

5 Tips for Creating An Amazing Dorm Room

It’s that time again! The college-bound are heading back to school, bringing with them a car load of personal items for their dorm rooms. And as we all know, the typical college dorm room can be pretty drab and uninspiring. Why spend your year living in a ho-hum environment when you can accessorize that blank room to the level of A-mazing!…

Remember back to your university days? Were you a neat-freak or a slob? I was a tidy student, decorating my half of the room with posters and a calendar from Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings purchased at the campus bookstore. Back in the 70’s that was the extent of my decorating know-how. Fast forward to present day and students have many more options. They can quickly order everything for their room online from an abundance of imagery to fit whatever color

Vintage Vehicles

Featuring another Vintage Vehicle from my Retro Art Factory collection.

New Vintage Camera Seamless Pattern

Ya know what’s so awesome about being a digital artist? Every single day I learn something incredibly cool! Being a pixel manipulator pushes my brain into overdrive, forcing me to invent and learn new techniques. Here’s my latest endeavor: a seamless, endless background pattern created from six vintage cameras! Of course, I made three variations on the theme: Grey, Blue and Turquoise/Blue. I hope you enjoy my camera escapades

Hey thanks for stopping by! Welcome to my new Redbubble portfolio: The Retro Art Factory.

Do you love old cameras? You know – that grungy, steampunk quality of funky bellows, crinkled leather and musty metal? Yep, me too. I love vintage cameras so much I decided to begin this portfolio by photographing my own collection of Polaroid, Kodak and Mamiya artifacts. I then gave them a whirl in Photoshop with a bit of magic sauce and Voila! I have some pretty nifty, industrial chic images to dress up your walls or bod!

Hope you enjoy my little corner of retro art here at Redbubble. Visit often ‘cause I have more cool kitschy concepts bouncing around in my head and I can’t wait to share them with you.
