After not painting for nearly two decades, I dusted off my easel and started painting again in 2014. I owe that thanks to a few folks from The Onyx Collective of Seattle. Sometimes we need a gentle push to move us forward to an uncomfortable, but productive space. I love the art of storytelling. I love stories. I do feel challenged by the painting process of storytelling, but my desire is to keep painting as one way to grow my ability to visually express what I love.
