Original Painting Give-away for Christmas

I have decided to give away an original painting to one of my Facebook fans for Christmas. I painted this painting earlier this year and then decided I didn’t like it at the time. I just pulled it out again and thought someone might actually like to have this. So I am giving it away, for free!
All you have to do is become a fan on facebook, then go to the post about the giveaway and write a short poem about the painting. Tell me who you think she is, what her story is. On Sunday Dec.18th I will pick my favorite and mail the writer the painting free of charge….I will even pay the shipping…..even to Australia!
So go over now and join my FB fan page and start writing. I can’t wait to read what you come up with.

Forgotten Goddess Opening Fri. in North Hollywood

I am real excited to have about 10 of my works in an exhibit in North Hollywood. The Show opens this Friday at the Rico Adair Gallery. Along with my art there will be works by Red Bubble artist Patricia Ariel, and a few other amazing artists like Russelle Marcato Westbrook. Please check it out if you are in the Los Angeles area.

Huge SALE of selected older works

I am running a sale on my website for one week only. Starting today through 10-18-11, you can buy some of my older original works for 50-60% off the original price. All works are under $200, and most are under $100 USD.
This would be a great time to collect some of my original artwork for a cheap price. Check it out at my website:

Guest artist on a new website

I was contacted a few weeks back by a talented artist named Russelle Marcato Westbrook. She just recently launched a new website at The website features her artwork on varying products. The website is meant to empower women and also a portion of the proceeds are given to organizations that are actively involved in preventing domestic violence.
I was very honored to be asked to be the first guest artist on this wonderful new site. Please check it out when you can. Here is the link to the guest gallery. Also look back in the future as I will eventually have my artwork on some of their products available on the site.

My first magazine cover!

I got a copy of Novum in the mail today with my Lilith on the front cover! Novum is a Science Fiction society out of Denmark that puts out a publication. This is their 100th issue and features a story about a dragon/serpent/goddess. My work Tiamat is also on the back cover.
I am pretty excited, but wish that I could read Danish.
Lilith will also be on exhibit starting May 13th through a show curated by the amazing Helene Ruiz called “Gods and Goddesses” in Richmond, VA. If you live near Richmond please go and check it out, and take some pics for me because I don’t think I will be able to make it to the show.
And lastly, the 8th issue of Beyond Fantasy Magazine will be coming out soon. Check it out, as my Coimimeadh will be on page 55.

Happy Easter/Ostara!

New Art licensing deal

I am pretty excited to have just signed my very first art licensing contract! It is with a new fabric block company called Kat’s magical patches. If you are the crafty type, or know someone who is, you will now be able to get my art in fabric patches. These are super handy to sew onto quilts, throw pillows, clothing, or shoulder bags. You can checkout the website here and I will let you know when my patches are ready to be sold. I can’t wait, if only I knew how to sew so I could make a quilt with a bunch of magical faeries on it :)

Auction proceeds to help Japan

I think we are all feeling helpless as we watch the devastation that seems to grow by the minute in Japan. I have decided to donate 20% of all proceeds from my Dirt Cheap Spring Cleaning Art Auction on Facebook to the Red Cross to help out efforts in Japan. All you have to do is become a fan by liking my page here and then go to the Dirt cheap album and make a bid on the work you like the most, or more than one.
Blessings to you and yours,

Photo Album Complete for Art Auction

I just finally uploaded all the work I will be auctioning off starting this Sunday the 13th. You can click the pic below to go to the album on Facebook. Don’t forget to join my fanpage while you are there so you can participate in the fun.

Dirt Cheap Spring Cleaning Art Auction on Facebook

I have decided to do a little Spring Cleaning. I have a lot of old artworks stored in my basement that I am ready to let go of, and let go of for pennies if needed.
I will be doing this with an Art auction on my Facebook fan page starting next Sunday and lasting for one week.
I will post an album of all the works that will be up for sale and will list their opening bid (which will be shockingly low). Then you can comment with your bid (or privately message me with it).
To be a part of the fun you will have to be a fan so like me Here.
There will be many of my older soft pastels and some smaller paintings up for sale. Something for everyone and probably some of your favorites. You might just get yourself some original art for an affordable price; all opening bids will be under $100, some…

I really am still here

I haven’t been around Red Bubble much most of the winter. My creative juices have been a little dry this winter, but I am feeling that old creative burst of energy again lately.
I recently finished a new piece and am starting on another one. I am just waiting on a new hand me down camera that is suppose to arrive later this week and then I will photograph it. Until then you can see some sneak peek shots at my blog here. My blog is one of the best places to keep up with what I am up to so follow it if you would like, and if you have a blog let me know so I can add it to my blogroll.
Hope everyone is having or had a great weekend,

Faeries and Foes Contest

On a whim I joined the “Faeries and Foes” contest over at Beyond Fantasy Magazine. There are a few very famous fantasy artists in the contest, and if I am going to have a snowball’s chance in H-e- double hockey sticks of getting into the top three, I will need your support.
Please go to Beyond Fantasy Magazine and vote for #26 on the poll. It will only take a second, Thankyou!!!!!!

P.S. This is #26

Sales, sales, sales....woohoo!

Seems like the end of 2010 was a little slow for me on the RB sale front, but if this first week of 2011 is any sign of what lies ahead for me this year with sales, I will be one !

Thankyou to Duffboy and to Scot Howden for the purchases of :

And thankyou to the anonymous buyer who purchased this today:

That was my very first canvas print sale, and it was an extra large one at that. Needless to say, I was very excited about that sale!

And then to top it off someone else anonymously bought a laminated print of my newest work:

I guess I am a little excited, like I said things have been a little slow around here, mostly a card sale here and there, up until recently :)

Wishing you all abundant sales in 2011!
