I am off for a week. Family responsibilities mean I will be unable to log on till Tuesday next week. Look forward to catching up with all the new stuff when I return. See you then. Kaz

Central Aussie Trip Blog pt1

We started our trip in a lather of worry. What would we need? What would we put where? Would we take enough, would we have enough room, would we cope?Would the car be okay, would the trailer be okay…
No end of questions, very few answers!…

Eventually we headed off. Farewells at our daughter’s place then on to Dubbo. Late start, trouble reversing but as we were staying in a relo’s yard rather a soft start to the trip. After long farewells we hit the road again, headed for our first free overnight camp at Cassillis. near road and a bit noisy but not too bad.

Travelled on to Broken Hill and stayed at Penrose Park. On the way in I managed to get over half an hour at Pro Hart’s Gallery and another day we went to Jack Absolom’s Gallery. More detailed reports at a later date.

Wow aren’t the “edit your work in a group” tabs brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now rather than leave & rejoin groups you can selectively remove art from groups to stay within their submission limits.

I am so rapt that I just wanted to say thanks for this and all the other great innovations RB institutes for our benefit.

• I mostly post all my work here, mainly because I write, paint and do photography and its the only place I have found where I can place my work collectively…I have a few pieces posted elsewhere, but to be fair I am nota always sure about the security of having my work in too many places….the community here is very good and we are all like minded, share our appreciation of each others work….
I sometimes wonder if some of my work should come down from here as I don’t feel its my best but this is where my journey started and so its also a book of my development in the arts… I often look back at other peoples work, going back to thier early work, I find it interesting to see how their styles change or…
