Painter and illustrator of children's books and cartoons while I tend to my other day job of hair stylist in Oakland, CA. My medium of choice is acrylic on canvas and the last 7 years was dedicated to painting what I call Iconic Portraits, a sweeping series of portraits from all walks of life weight a focus on African American diaspora, a theme that has deep-roots in my own life and history. I share these images here that I hope to find meaning and beauty in your life and home.
